GiftedKids.in was born from lived experience, deep expertise, and a shared belief that gifted children in India deserve to be seen. Meet the team building it.
Kunwer first met Dr. Inderbir Kaur Sandhu around a decade ago, when she was a neighbour at Magnolias, Gurgaon. He had read her book on giftedness, and their conversations about gifted children soon turned into a genuine friendship.
Together they often imagined bringing gifted education into India's schools — but Kunwer was deep in building his companies, and Dr. Inderbir had her own priorities. She later relocated to Singapore — where she is a citizen and remains based today — and the idea stayed on the shelf.
Years on, when the time finally came to turn those thoughts into action, Kunwer reached out again. After much reflection, she came on board as a co-founder of GiftedKids.in — contributing her expertise from Singapore to the mission they once only dreamed about.
Entrepreneur · Author · Inventor · Lifelong Learner
Kunwer Sachdev founded Su-Kam Power Systems — India's largest inverter company — from nothing, teaching himself electronics while building an industry. At 47, reading Gifted Grownups, he finally had a name for the way his brain had always worked. That discovery — and seeing how even good schools had no language for giftedness — is what built this platform.
He is the living proof that giftedness has no expiry date, no income filter, and no language requirement. A government school student who failed Physics. A man who built a Rs. 1,000 crore company. A gifted adult who found the word at 47 and decided no child in India should have to wait that long.
Entrepreneur · Patent Holder · Green Energy Leader
Khushboo Sachdev is the Founder & CEO of Su-vastika Systems — a leading green energy company exporting lithium-ion energy storage solutions to Africa and the Middle East. She holds an M.A. in English Literature and a Government of India patent in IoT-based energy management. In 2025, she was honoured with the Super Woman award for her contributions to the energy sector and entrepreneurship.
She brings to GiftedKids.in the discipline of building a real business — operations, teams, export markets — alongside the perspective of a caregiver, a leader, and someone who understands what it takes to build things that last.
Cambridge PhD · INSO & PERMATApintar Consultant · Author
Dr. Inderbir Kaur Sandhu holds a PhD in Psychology (Gifted Education) from the University of Cambridge and brings nearly three decades of experience to gifted education, assessment, and talent development — recognised as one of Asia's leading specialists. She is a Consultant to PERMATApintar (UKM, Malaysia), an Expert Consultant to the International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO), an accredited WISC-IV/V assessor, and a recipient of the SUSS Excellence in Teaching Award.
Having lived and worked in India (2009–2017), she partnered with schools, universities, and families before relocating to Singapore. Author of The Secrets to Raising a Smarter Child (Rupa Publications), she brings GiftedKids.in the academic rigour and clinical depth that ground the platform's identification and support frameworks in evidence, not assumption.
Lived experience. Entrepreneurial firepower. Academic depth. Three people who came to the same belief from three different directions: gifted children in India are invisible, and they deserve better.
Read the founding story →Every idea on this platform is our own. The site is written in Kunwer's voice, carrying the ideas and expertise of all three of us. We use AI tools to help structure and refine our original ideas into clear, readable content — never to replace that voice. Every word is shaped, reviewed, and approved by us, and our guidance on giftedness, assessment, and child development is grounded in Dr. Inderbir's expertise. The insight, judgement, and care behind GiftedKids.in are entirely human.
